Trio Avium members are Ros Bandt on recorders, Ruth Wilkinson on  recorder and equally versatile on the viola da gamba, and Cynthia O’Brien virtuosic on baroque violin.

As the name suggests, Trio Avium specialise in baroque music involving birdsong. They have performed at the Castlemaine Festival, and as far afield as the Victoria International Arts Festival in Malta. They have made a recording titled “Bird Song” with Orpheus Music.
