QUARTET FOR THE END OF TIME
Ensemble Liaison team up with artistic director of the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra, Sophie Rowell to present Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time. After the success of their internationally acclaimed recording on the Melba Recordings label praised for their 'impassioned and committed performance', Ensemble Liaison have gone on to perform this work over thirty times, including a ten-concert tour for Chamber Music New Zealand, Musica Viva Australia and multiple performances at the Melbourne Recital Centre. The Quartet for the End of Time is one of the most significant chamber music compositions of the 20th century.
