'Small Round Strangely Furry With Spots And Other Patterns'
by Connor D'Netto
Small Round Strangely Furry with Spots Stripes and Other Patterns is a trio for clarinet, violin and piano that I composed in 2018 for the amazing Melbourne-based champions of contemporary art music PLEXUS (Monica Curro, Philip Arkinstall and Stefan Cassomenos).
I recorded this version all the way back in 2019, back when I was living in London, with a group of other students at the Royal College of Music, and had been sitting on the recording for a while.
Finally in 2022 I decided to put together an EP around that recording, commissioning two friends to create remixes of the trio, as well as composing something new to accompany it. – Connor D’Netto
