Tallis Scholars: de Morales, Palestrina, Allegri, Festa, des Prez, de Victoria

Following their triumphant sold-out concert at the Centre in 2013, they return to Australia for a national tour to perform a sublime program of sacred choral music from great Renaissance masters including Josquin, Palestrina, Morales, Victoria and Allegri.

Led by director Peter Phillips, they champion sacred vocal music of the Renaissance, one of the great repertoires of Western classical music, enthralling audiences in churches, cathedrals and venues across the globe.

In this program The Tallis Scholars explore the world of great Renaissance composers with music once written for the revered Sistine Chapel Choir, including Allegri’s iconic Miserere.
