Caerwen Martin and Ken Murray join forces as composer/performers in the Murray/Martin duo. In this recital program they explore new possibilities for the duo of cello and guitar, combining contemporary performance and composition with some improvisation. Musical influences include minimalism, popular music, folksongs and Brazilian music.
This recital contains world premiere performances of new works, including pieces linked to Murray and Martin's research outputs. Both are active as composers and performers.
