Melbourne Chamber Orchestra (MCO): Mozart, Salieri, Trewartha

Melbourne Chamber Orchestra brings the music of rival composers Mozart and Salieri to life, guest-directed by acclaimed violinist Zoë Black. The performances feature Mozart’s Symphony No 28, and the Jeunehomme piano concerto with leading Australian pianist Hoang Pham. On the Salieri side, there's an Australian premiere of an opera overture and his La Veneziana symphony.

MCO also premieres an intriguing MCO commission by Victorian composer Louisa Trewartha, Anderson’s Kew for double bass and string orchestra. MCO Principal Bass Emma Sullivan performs the solo.
