The Medieval and Renaissance Ensemble presents a celebration of musical life at the court the Tudor monarchs between Henry VIII and Elizabeth I. The ensemble will present consort songs by Byrd, sacred motets by Tallis, madrigals from the English madrigal school and keyboard works by the English virginalists
