Georgina Lewis
Pianist Georgina Lewis completed her Bachelor of Music (Honours) at the Victorian College of the Arts, studying Repertoire Keyboard with Donna Coleman. She performs with some of Melbourne’s most respected musicians and has earned a reputation for her sensitivity and authentic, 'unfiltered musicality’. She is a founding member of Solstice, a piano trio dedicated to performance and creation of new Australian works, by women in particular. Georgina completed a Master of Arts and Cultural Management in 2018, focusing her final year studies on Intangible Cultural Heritage policy, and her interest in this field crosses over into her curation and performance practices.
Billie Tumarkin
Billie Tumarkin is a singer at the intersection of classical, folk and contemporary music. She was born in Melbourne to a family from Kharkiv, Ukraine, and has dedicated herself to learning song traditions of many different cultures, currently performing repertoire in over a dozen languages. Tumarkin is completing her Bachelor of Music (Honours) at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music where she studies with the inimitable Suzy Johnston. Later this year she will begin her Masters in opera singing at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. In 2022 Tumarkin had the privilege of performing with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Opera Australia Orchestra, and at the Sydney Opera House.
