Krstevska + Harrold: Edwards, Maconchy, Saariaho, Hyde, Ran & Coleman

Award-winning instrumentalist Magdalenna Krstevska will perform hidden gems of the clarinet repertoire by composers from all over the world; Australia, Finland, America, Israel and England. From Ross Edward’s Binyang, inspired by melodic Australian birdsong, to Miriam Hyde’s romantic Sonata for clarinet and piano, and Shulamit Ran’s dramatic Monologue, expect a program of works that demonstrate the incredible range, versatility and evocative power of the clarinet. Krstevska is joined on stage by pianist Leigh Harrold.
