Duo Novae: Sibelius, Mason, Fujimura, Clarke & Peterson

The only Melbourne appearance of American violin/viola Duo Novae during their 2023 Australasian Tour. Formed in 2019, Dr. Ambroise Aubrun (Assoc. Prof. of Violin, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, (UNLV)) and Kate Hamilton (Assoc. Prof. of Viola, UNLV, and Co-Director, Brazil's International Chamber Music Festival) unite to uncover hidden string repertoire. Renowned educators, their master classes have resonated worldwide, and their recordings on labels like Hortus and Centaur have garnered acclaim. They will be joined by Special Guests Diana Wuli (cello) and Kenji Fujimura (piano).

The concert will be preceded by a Masterclass from 1:30pm to 3:30pm
