Boilermaker Duo: Stracke, Jarrett & Davidson

$22In 2020, long-time colleagues Ben Dix and Dan McKay (best known for their work within the Melbourne Guitar Quartet) joined forces as Australia’s newest guitar duo.
The duo performs Ulrich Stracke’s transcription of Bach/Busoni’s Chaconne, breathing new life into this monumental and virtuosic work. They also explore the delicate beauty of Keith Jarrett’s classic improvised work from Köln in 1975, which Ben recently arranged for them. The duo are also thrilled to present the first performances of 'Arrival Gates', written for them by much loved Australian composer Robert Davidson.
