The Continuo Founders’ Fund is an initiative to provide flexible support for chamber music related projects. The kinds of projects we envisage supporting include (but are not limited to):
- providing support for ensembles who are presenting new chamber works for rehearsals and/or venue booking
- music education projects
- support for recording of performances, particularly of new music
- commissioning new work in addition to the annual Continuo Commissioning Circle commission
Over time Continuo plans to raise capital to create a permanent Founders’ Fund. In the interim, it will fund-raise on a project-by-project basis from its supporters and the wider community. Donors can choose to make a general donation, large or small, to the fund to help build a capital reserve, or can donate to support a particular project.
Applications for funding support are welcome from composers, ensembles or other not-for-profit organisations. Simply contact us describing your project, the amount you hope to raise, and why you think Continuo should support you.
