Yes, the ensemble may be vocal, or include a voice line.

Referees are not mandatory. Please include the names of referees if you think it will assist the selection panel.

Continuo can help with this, but a good place to start is by scanning our Who’s Who database of Victorian-based ensembles. Most of these have a link to their website or facebook page, through which they can be contacted directly.

Yes, provided the ensemble is prepared to support either composer if they are successful in being awarded the commission.

The ensemble does not need to be incorporated. We are happy to accept applications from new or emerging ensembles.

It can be a group of musicians assembled specifically for the commission, provided those musicians are prepared to commit to rehearsal and presentation of the work in due course if the composer is successful.
