Affinity Quartet’s debut album, A listening Air on Da Vinci label, comprises Australian music and living collaborations that have been transformative for the ensemble over the past decade.
The album features repertoire by Alice Chance, Thomas Misson, Brett Dean and Peter Sculthorpe, bringing together works that show a deep commitment to the custodianship and ongoing renewal of the artform, including premieres by the ensemble.
